The Saniflo Sanicubic 2 VX (part no. 099) is a heavy-duty pre-assembled duplex vortex lift station for commercial and industrial buildings: restroom additions in warehouses and offices, multi-unit residential, medical and hospitality projects with long runs to the sewer. Two 1.5 HP vortex pumps alternate to share the load; when inflow exceeds what one pump can discharge the second starts automatically, and if one pump fails the other carries the workload until service. The vortex impellers pass solids up to 2" while keeping them away from the impeller. With 2" discharge pipe it pumps up to 36 feet vertically or 328 feet horizontally (40 GPM at 36 ft, 145 GPM at 3 ft); with 4" pipe up to 1,640 feet horizontally or 20 feet vertically (110 GPM at 20 ft, 250 GPM at 3 ft), both motors running; 43 ft shut-off head. Five inlets, 1-1/2" or 4", two of them low, take toilets, tubs and showers, sinks, washing machines and dishwashers; the vent is 2". A fail-proof air pressure switch system with triple redundancy controls the pumps, and the IP68-rated unit includes an external control box and alarm.
