The Saniflo Sanicom 2 (part no. 028) is an industrial-grade duplex drain pump for high-volume gray water in commercial and industrial buildings: commercial kitchens and dishwashers, laundromats and banks of washing machines, breweries and process water, salons and multi-sink installations. Two 2 HP oil-filled, thermally protected motors work alternately to share the load and automatically run together when the inflow demands it, so one pump keeps the system running if the other needs service. The Sanicom 2 handles water up to 194°F, grease, detergents and chemically aggressive effluent, and pumps up to 32 feet vertically or 390 feet horizontally through a 1-1/2" discharge, delivering 81 GPM at 32 feet and 140 GPM at 3 feet with both motors running (53 ft shut-off head). Activation is by a fail-proof air pressure switch system with triple redundancy feeding a circuit board, with an external control panel. Connections: two 2" inlets and a 1-1/2" vent on top; the 8.5 gallon (32 L) tank needs only a 10" raised base for a shower or floor drain. Electrical: 220-240 V (208 V minimum), 60 Hz, 16 A max, 72" cord. Noise 68 dBA or less at 3 feet. The unit measures about 19-1/4" W x 16" D x 15-3/4" H and weighs 57 lb. Certified CSA (IPC, NSPC) and IAPMO (UPC). A wired alarm and the Saniflo Descaler (052) are recommended accessories.
