The Saniflo Sanialarm (part no. 050) is a battery-operated high-water alarm that mounts on top of a Saniflo macerating, grinder or drain pump and warns you before a problem turns into an overflow. A level pressure switch inside the alarm senses the water level in the pump; if it rises above the maximum allowed level, because of a blockage, a power cut, a failed motor or misuse such as flushing wipes, the Sanialarm sounds a continuous 80 dB warning until it is switched off or the problem is corrected. Installation takes a few minutes: drill a 3/8" hole in the top of the pump case where indicated, insert the tube, set the alarm on top and turn the switch on. It runs on two AAA batteries (not included), so it keeps working during a power outage, when the pump itself cannot run. Compatible with the Saniplus Up (002), Sanibest Pro (013), Sanigrind Pro (014), Sanipack (011) and Sanivite (008). Weight about 1 lb.
