The Saniflo Saniaccess 2 (part no. 081) is a 1/2 HP macerating pump that lets you add a half bathroom, a toilet and a sink, almost anywhere in a home without breaking concrete: a basement, attic, garage, guest suite or accessory dwelling unit. It installs behind a Saniflo rear-outlet toilet and pumps waste up to 15 feet vertically or up to 150 feet horizontally from a soil stack through 3/4" or 1" pipe, delivering 17 GPM at 15 feet and 27 GPM at 3 feet (30 ft shut-off head). When the toilet is flushed, the rising water trips a microswitch in the pressure chamber, the hardened stainless steel blades spin at 3,600 RPM and reduce waste and toilet paper to a fine slurry, and the impeller pumps it out in a 10-12 second cycle. The blades need no servicing or replacement. A 1-1/2" side inlet takes a sink; the opposite side connection serves as the 1-1/2" vent (a two-way vent is required; air admittance valves are not permitted). Two separate service panels give access to the electrical parts and to the blade compartment without disconnecting the toilet or piping.
