The Saniflo Sanicondens Best Flat (part no. 044) is a low-profile condensate pump with a built-in neutralizer, made for condensing boilers, high-efficiency furnaces, condensing water heaters and HVAC equipment that produce acidic condensate. Condensate from a condensing boiler typically runs at pH 3.2 to 4.5, acidic enough to stain, kill plantings and eat away cast iron drain lines. The Best Flat passes it through a chamber of neutralizing granules that raises the pH before the pump discharges it, rated for appliances up to 500,000 BTU per hour. It lifts condensate up to 15 feet vertically or carries it up to 150 feet horizontally through 3/8" tubing, moving about 30 gallons per hour at 15 feet and 86 GPH at 3 feet. A float and microswitch run the 1/30 HP oil-filled, thermally protected motor in short 3-5 second bursts at 44 dBA or less, and the 0.9 gallon (3.4 L) reservoir accepts condensate up to 160°F. There are two 1" inlets, one on top and one on the side, and the unit is ready to wire to an external alarm or building controls. At only 6-3/4" tall (about 15-7/8" long x 5-7/16" deep) it fits under a boiler or beside a furnace where taller pumps will not. Electrical: 120 V, 60 Hz, 1.5 A max, 61-1/2" cord; weight 12 lb. Supplied with neutralizing pellets, 20 feet of vinyl tubing and the inlet and discharge adapters. Replacement granules are sold as part no. 042, or in bulk as the 046 refill bucket.
