Description

A brazed plate heat exchanger with 3/4" MPT connections. Plate exchangers transfer heat between two circuits while keeping them completely separate, which is how a boiler heats domestic hot water, a snowmelt loop or a pool without mixing the water. Stacking thin plates gives a very large surface area in a small package, so it does the work of a much bigger shell-and-tube unit. Plate count and flow rates decide the duty.
