A Safgard 1100M low water cut-off with manual reset. The manual reset is the point of this version: once it trips it stays tripped until somebody attends and presses the button, so a low water event cannot quietly clear itself and let the boiler fire again on the same fault. That forces the cause — a leak, a failed feeder, a blocked line — to be found rather than repeatedly reset by the control.
