Description

Red firestop silicone for sealing penetrations in fire-rated construction. The silicone base is what separates it from a firestop caulk: it stays flexible, so it suits joints that move — pipework that expands and contracts, and penetrations in assemblies subject to movement — where a rigid sealant would crack and open the very gap it was meant to close. The red colour makes a rated seal obvious to an inspector.
