A 1-1/2" x 12" tubular extension supplied with its nut. It lengthens a waste run between the fixture and the trap where the standard tailpiece will not reach — a deep basin, a raised vanity, or a trap that sits lower than the fixture it serves. Being a slip joint, it can be adjusted for length and alignment on assembly and taken apart later without cutting.
