Description

A standard-depth wax ring for setting a toilet, the one to use when the closet flange sits at or just above finished floor level. The wax seals the joint between the pan outlet and the flange, and it works by being squashed — the pan is set down onto it once and pressed home, not lifted and re-seated. If the flange has ended up below the floor after new tile or covering, a deep ring is the right part instead.
