A Watermark EXT51 extension kit. Extension kits exist for one reason: the valve was set at rough-in for one wall thickness, and the finished wall came out deeper — extra tile, backer board or a build-out — leaving the trim short of where it needs to sit. The kit makes up that depth so the trim finishes flush, without opening the wall to move the valve body.
