Description

A 14 oz tub of plumber's putty, the handy size for the van. It is used for bedding fittings where a watertight seal is wanted but there is no pressure behind it — setting a sink strainer, bedding a drain flange or pop-up, sealing under a faucet base. It stays soft instead of curing, so the fitting can be taken apart later, but for the same reason it is not a thread sealant or a gasket substitute.
