Description

A Potter VSR-S water flow switch with retard. It signals that water is genuinely flowing in a sprinkler system, which is how a fire alarm panel knows a head has operated. The retard is the essential part: it delays the signal for a few seconds so a surge or a brief pressure fluctuation in the main does not trip a full alarm and fire brigade response. Fitted on the sprinkler riser or a zone branch.
