Description

A 2-foot GFCI line cord rated 15 A at 125 V. It puts ground fault protection at the tool or appliance itself rather than relying on the outlet it happens to be plugged into — which matters on plumbing work, where the outlet in an older basement or plant room may have no GFCI protection at all and the work is around water. It trips on a fault to earth far faster and at a far lower current than a breaker will.
