Description

A Honeywell L4079B1033 pressuretrol with manual reset, adjustable over 2-15 PSI. On a steam boiler this is the pressure limit: it shuts the burner down if steam pressure rises past the set point, and because it is manual reset it holds that shutdown until someone attends. Most residential and small commercial steam systems are designed to run at very low pressure, so a pressuretrol that has tripped usually points to a real fault rather than normal operation.
