Description

A Honeywell L8124A aquastat relay, the combination control that runs a boiler with a tankless coil. It does three jobs in one housing: holds the boiler water at temperature for domestic hot water, caps it at the high limit for safety, and switches the circulator on a call for heat. Because so much is combined in one control, it is a common failure point — and a fault in it can look like a dead boiler, no hot water, or a pump that will not run.
