Description

A Hoffman #41 air vent for a steam system. Steam cannot enter a space that is still full of air, so a system that will not heat properly is very often an air venting problem rather than a boiler problem. The vent releases that air as steam advances and closes once steam reaches it, keeping the steam in the system.
