A 6" x 25' run of R4 insulated flexible duct. R4 is the lighter insulation grade — appropriate where the duct runs inside conditioned space, so the loss through the wall is small and there is little risk of the duct sweating. Where the run passes through an attic, crawl space or anywhere unconditioned, step up to R6 instead, or condensation and heat loss become a real problem.
