Description
A 3" IPS SDR-11 HDPE 90 degree elbow. HDPE systems are heat fused rather than jointed mechanically, so the fitting becomes a continuous part of the pipe with no seal to fail - which is why HDPE is used for buried gas and water mains. SDR-11 defines the wall thickness relative to diameter, and it must match the pipe: a fitting of a different SDR will not fuse correctly.
