Description

A 3/4" spiral screw extractor, size #8. It handles the broken 3/4" nipples that turn up on heating and gas work, where the pipe has corroded into a fitting and sheared off when someone tried to turn it. Extracting rather than replacing the fitting is often the difference between a repair and opening up a wall to get at the pipework behind it.
