Description

A 24 V normally closed zone valve head with an end switch. Normally closed means the valve is shut with no power, so a failure leaves the zone off rather than heating uncontrolled. The end switch is the important part: it confirms the valve has actually opened before the boiler is allowed to fire, so the boiler never runs into a closed circuit. Match the head to the valve body already fitted.
