A 3" Apollo double check detector assembly. A detector assembly is a DCVA with a metered bypass across it: the bypass registers the very small flows that a large main meter cannot detect, which is how an unauthorised connection or a leak downstream is found. That is why detector assemblies are specified on fire services and large supplies. Must be installed accessible and tested annually.
