Description

A 1/2" x 6" frost-free sillcock. Six inches covers a standard frame wall with sheathing and siding, placing the valve seat inside the warm side of the structure where it cannot freeze. It also needs a slight fall toward the outside so the barrel drains itself when the tap is closed - a frost-free installed dead level holds water and defeats its own design.
