A 1" pipe connector for the Transair compressed air system. Transair is an aluminium push-to-connect system: the pipe is cut, deburred and pushed into the fitting, with no threading, welding or solvent. That means a compressed air main can be installed and later reconfigured quickly, which is the main reason it is chosen over threaded steel in a workshop.
