Description
A 1" union with a copper solder end and a female-threaded end, joined by a disconnectable coupling nut. Wrought copper solder-joint fitting per ASME B16.22, for use with ASTM B88 copper tube. A union lets a section of copper line be disconnected without cutting: the two halves are sweated or threaded onto their pipes, then drawn together and sealed by the coupling nut.
