Description

A 20 oz can of maximum-fill expanding spray foam, for closing the larger gaps left behind by mechanical work. Typical use is sealing around a pipe where it has been cored or cut through a rim joist or exterior wall, filling a void behind a fixture, and stopping the draughts and insect access those openings create. Note that ordinary foam is not a firestop — a penetration in a fire-rated wall needs a rated sealant instead.
