Description

Permabond anaerobic adhesive and sealant. Anaerobics cure in the absence of air once they are confined between close-fitting metal parts, which is what makes them suited to threaded assemblies: the liquid fills the gaps between the threads and then hardens, locking the joint against vibration and sealing it against leaks at the same time. It stays liquid in the bottle because the air keeps it from curing. Check the grade before use, as the strength determines whether the joint can be broken again with hand tools later.
