Description

A Lochinvar RJA200 hot water storage tank, 200 gallons. Storage separates the heating of water from the drawing of it, which is what lets a building meet a heavy short peak — a hotel at breakfast, a school at lunch — without sizing the heat source for that peak. The tank does the buffering; the heater only has to keep up with the average. Plan for access, since a tank this size cannot be manoeuvred through a normal plant room door once full.
