Description

A GVD-6PL vent damper, 6", supplied without a wiring harness. A vent damper closes the flue when the appliance is off, stopping heated air from being drawn continuously up the chimney between burner cycles. It has to be interlocked with the control so the burner cannot fire until the damper has proved open — which is what the harness does, and why one has to be ordered alongside this if the existing one is not being reused.
