Description

Aluminium breakable caps for 2-1/2" fire department connections. They keep dirt, insects and debris out of the FDC threads between inspections, and they are made to break away under the fire department's spanner so nobody is fighting a seized cap during a callout. Because they are designed to break rather than unscrew, a missing or broken cap is also a visible sign the connection has been interfered with.
