Description

A quart of dark cutting oil for threading steel and iron pipe. Cutting a thread generates a lot of heat and pressure at the die, and without oil the thread tears rather than cuts — leaving a rough, weak thread that will not seal properly. Dark oil is the heavy-duty grade used on black and galvanised steel, where its higher lubricity gives a cleaner thread and longer die life.
