Description

An OCS CE 632 copper convector element with brass headers: 6" nominal depth, 32" nominal length, rated at 31.0 square feet EDR - about 7,440 BTU/hr on steam at 240 BTU per square foot, or roughly 4,650 BTU/hr on hot water. A mid-length element, the size most rooms take once furniture and doors are allowed for. Copper carries heat away from the water faster than steel, so a copper element gives more output than a steel one of the same size - CE 632 is rated well above the equivalent SE 632. The tube is 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD copper with brass headers tapped 3/4" and a 1/4" plug; the element measures 5-3/4" deep and 2" high, and 31.75" end to end. Approximate weight 5.5 lb.
