Description

An OCS CE 620 copper convector element with brass headers: 6" nominal depth, 20" nominal length, rated at 18.0 square feet EDR - about 4,320 BTU/hr on steam at 240 BTU per square foot, or roughly 2,700 BTU/hr on hot water. The short elements suit a narrow run - a bathroom, a galley kitchen, or the space between a door and a corner. Copper carries heat away from the water faster than steel, so a copper element gives more output than a steel one of the same size - CE 620 is rated well above the equivalent SE 620. The tube is 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD copper with brass headers tapped 3/4" and a 1/4" plug; the element measures 5-3/4" deep and 2" high, and 19.75" end to end. Approximate weight 4.75 lb.
