Description

An OCS CE 436 copper convector element with brass headers: 4" nominal depth, 36" nominal length, rated at 25.0 square feet EDR - about 6,000 BTU/hr on steam at 240 BTU per square foot, or roughly 3,750 BTU/hr on hot water. A long element for a room with real heat loss, or a wall with a lot of glazing. Copper carries heat away from the water faster than steel, so a copper element gives more output than a steel one of the same size - CE 436 is rated well above the equivalent SE 436. The tube is 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD copper with brass headers tapped 3/4" and a 1/4" plug; the element measures 3-3/4" deep and 2" high, and 35.75" end to end. Approximate weight 3.25 lb.
