An Ashland 4835 Polytrap grease interceptor, 35 GPM with 70 lb grease capacity. The polymer body is the distinction from a cast unit: it does not corrode, which matters because a grease interceptor spends its life full of warm, fatty, aggressive waste. It is also far lighter to handle into position. Like any interceptor it must be pumped out on a schedule to keep working.
