Description

An 8" x 25' run of R6 insulated flexible duct with a silver jacket. R6 is the heavier insulation grade, needed wherever the duct leaves conditioned space — an attic, crawl space or garage — because the temperature difference across the duct wall there is large enough to cause both heat loss and condensation. The jacket is the vapour barrier, and it only works if the seams and connections are properly sealed.
