Description

A fibreglass insulation elbow for a 90 degree fitting, sized for 8 inch pipe with a 2 inch insulation wall. Insulating the fittings matters as much as insulating the straight runs: an uninsulated elbow is a break in the thermal envelope and, on a cold line, the exact point where condensation forms and drips. Preformed sections mean the bend is covered properly rather than wrapped and taped by hand. Both the pipe size and the wall thickness have to match the run's insulation.
