Description

A 6" Class 300 carbon steel Y-strainer. It sits in the line ahead of equipment that debris would damage — pumps, control valves, meters, heat exchangers — and catches scale, weld slag and construction debris in a removable screen that is blown down or pulled and cleaned on service. Class 300 is the higher pressure rating, so this is a plant and process-scale fitting rather than anything domestic. Fit it where the screen can actually be reached.
