Description

A 6" x 6" fire damper for ductwork passing through a fire-rated wall or floor. A duct penetration is a hole in the rated assembly, and the damper is what closes that hole in a fire: it is held open in normal service and shuts when heat releases it, so the barrier keeps its rating instead of letting fire and smoke travel through the duct. Sized for small branch ducts and transfer openings.
