Description

A 4" service weight cast iron return bend, domestic manufacture. A return bend turns the run through 180 degrees in one fitting, bringing the pipe back parallel to itself. On drainage it is a specialised fitting rather than an everyday one - used where a run has to double back within a limited space, typically around structure that cannot be cut.
