Description

A 2" flare male adapter. A flare joint seals metal to metal, with no gasket or compound in the seal, which is why it is specified where a soft seal would not be acceptable and where the joint must be capable of being broken and remade cleanly. The male thread connects into a threaded component. The flare itself must be formed square and uncracked, or it will not seat.
