Description
A 1-1/4" MagnaClean magnetic filter, rated to 300 MBH. Heating systems generate magnetite - black iron oxide sludge - which collects in heat exchangers, seizes pumps and blocks the narrow waterways of a modern boiler. A magnetic filter captures it out of the circulating water, and it is cleaned rather than replaced. On any system with an existing sludge problem, fitting one is usually a condition of the boiler warranty.
