Description

A 1-1/2" copper DWV wye. A wye brings a branch in at a shallow angle so the incoming flow joins the main run in the direction it is already travelling - which is what stops waste being stopped dead at the junction and building a blockage there. On drainage, the fitting's geometry matters as much as its size.
