Description

A 1" swivel nut, part number 0416804. A swivel nut is what makes a joint that can be undone: it turns freely on the pipe so the connection is drawn up by the nut alone, without twisting the pipework behind it. That is what lets a fixture, meter or appliance be disconnected and taken out later without cutting, which is why swivel connections are used at anything that will need servicing.
