Description

A 1/2" double expansion shield. It expands at both ends as the bolt is tightened rather than at one end only, which spreads the load over a longer section of the hole — the reason it is the anchor to use in brick, block and older, softer masonry where a single-expansion anchor would crush the material and pull out. Also useful where the base material is of uncertain quality.
