Description

A 1" firestop device with male and female NPT connections. Unlike a wrap or a sealant, this is a fitting installed in the line itself: it carries an intumescent element that expands to seal the opening in a fire as the pipe inside softens and collapses. That makes it the answer for plastic pipe crossing a rated assembly, where the pipe itself will disappear and leave a hole.
