Description

A 1/4" compression sleeve, also called a ferrule. It is the part that actually seals a compression joint: the nut squeezes it onto the tube until it deforms and grips. Because it is deformed permanently, a sleeve that has been made up once will rarely reseal reliably on a second attempt - replace it with the nut whenever a joint is broken.
