Description

A 1/4" compression insert. The insert goes inside soft tubing to support the wall from within, so the compression ferrule can grip without crushing the tube. Without one, a soft-walled tube collapses as the nut is tightened and the joint either leaks straight away or pulls out later. It is not optional on plastic or soft copper.
