Description

A Zilmet ZBT-120-22 buffer tank with two 2" NPT ports. A buffer tank adds water volume to a heating system, which solves a specific and common problem: a modern boiler serving small zones will short cycle, firing and stopping repeatedly because the zone satisfies faster than the boiler can modulate down. The extra volume lengthens each cycle, which improves efficiency and greatly reduces wear on the burner.
