Description

A 4 oz tin of Real-Tuff thread sealant. It is a PTFE-based compound, brushed onto male threads before assembly to seal the spiral leak path the threads leave. The PTFE content is what gives it its lubricity, so the joint pulls up further for the same effort and comes apart again later rather than seizing.
